I have included information from my own journey and the journey of other families into this compilation of the things we wish someone told us beforehand. It is my hope that by doing so, you feel like you have the information necessary to ask good questions, be confident in your role, avoid common pitfalls, and create a smooth sailing process. Without the preparatory information that is very often never given to a parent, we don’t know the questions to ask. What can be worse is that we start new behavior plans feeling unprepared. Collectively we need to change that.
